The transfer and start-up concept of the WORLDFACTORY

The WORLDFACTORY team is working towards a common goal: We want to strengthen the start-up culture at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and facilitate more spin-offs from the university! The potential is great, but knowledge and technology-based start-ups require special skills and customised consulting approaches.

Our transfer and start-up concept has been awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia: The WORLDFACTORY will receive a project budget of 22 million euros from 2019 to 2024 and is entitled to the title “Excellent Start-up Center.NRW”. The funds will flow directly into the services and infrastructure for people interested in starting a business.
